Posted on: Thu, Nov 5 2009

Just when you thought it was safe to paint the town R.E.D. in December, the Game done changed... again. On the heels of an explosive session in the studio with his mentor Dr. Dre, rapper Stat Quo and others, Game announced via Twitter that he will be pushing his fourth project back to the top of 2010.

February 16 of next year is the tentative date as of yesterday.

"[I] had to push it back so that me & Dre can wrap it up the right way !!!" he Tweeted. "Last night at the 'AFTERMATH HEADQUARTERS' was Classic ! [We] got it in all night. Aftermath."

In addition to announcing he and the good Dr. had rekindled, Game also disclosed he RZA recently provided him with an "amazing" track that he has yet to drop any vocals to.

After an assortment of leaks and even offering he may in fact gift his own album to the public, it's entirely possible the delay will allow Game to rework the music that's made it's way onto the Internet and into the music drives of his adoring fans.

Cuba Gooding Jr., Chris Brown and Gucci Mane are among the artists slated to collaborate with Game on the heavily anticipated R.E.D. album.
